UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, BERKELEY
Bachelor of Science
Energy Engineering
August 2017 - May 2019
I will be receiving my Bachelor's degree in Energy Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley in Spring 2019. Energy Engineering is a multidisciplinary field that integrates physical principles with engineering analysis, augmented with the realities of policy and engineering economics. The program incorporates courses from many departments on campus to create a discipline that is rigorously based in science, mathematics, and engineering, while addressing a wide variety of environmental issues. This major interweaves the fundamentals of classical and modern physics, chemistry, and mathematics with energy engineering applications. This major prepares me to tackle the complex energy-related problems faced by society.

May 2014 - May 2017
I learned to apply engineering principles to the design and manufacturing of products. Also, I can apply fundamental physical laws and equations and analyze both quantitatively and qualitatively specific problems in the physical universe. I can now recognize, comprehend, and apply the similar principles in the various disciplines of physics, and critically evaluate and analyze observations and measurements through the use of accepted scientific methods and report the results in formal papers that conform to the style of modern scientific writing. I developed critical thinking skills, the ability analyze abstract concepts, and can transition from the concrete to the abstract in mathematical thinking.
